Our client, a world leader in explosion protection systems, is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The company is targeting a candidate with a strong background in Electrical/Mechanical systems with preferable experience in fire protection systems. You must live within an hour of a major airport near Omaha.The Engineer will travel to local customer locations to commission, maintain, and troubleshoot life-saving products and equipment, as well as provide client education. The technician must be analytical and possess the skills to diagnose possible malfunctions within the explosion suppression systems. You must be able to diagnose and analyze equipment issues and breakdowns. The ideal candidate is comfortable maintaining and accurately transcribing performance and data collection as well as customer service attitude. Ladder logic/PLC knowledge is a plus. Fire protection and suppression system knowledge is a bonus (higher pay).Base salary, PTO, health insurance, 401K options, Per Diem ($69/day), company tools to include laptop.
