Your Mission:
- Work out of our Troy, NY office and travel to support our customers in the Americas, with most of the travel being in the Eastern US and Canada.
- Provide remote and on-site support for hardware and software related issues on Raith Nanofabrication systems.
- Perform instrument installations, qualifications, updates, upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize technical expertise to gather and interpret system data to solve complex equipment issues quickly and effectively with support from Raith Technical Support Specialists
- Accelerate your learning curve by working out of our North American service support center and help maintain our Service Tools.
- Provide feedback for Continuous Improvement on systems and procedures.
- Communicate with colleagues and Customers at a professional and proactive level.
- Over time, advance your career by becoming an expert in supporting multiple Raith product lines and providing escalation support for the most challenging issues.
Your qualifications:
- Associate or bachelors degree in an engineering or science-related field. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred and Military experience a plus.
- 2 to 5 Years practical engineering experience requested.
- Exceptional team working and communication skills are critically important as well as being solution driven and customer oriented.
- Outstanding independent problem-solving skills using root cause analysis methods.
- Experience in servicing precision equipment (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs).
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment and hands-on mechanical experience with semiconductor instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ultra-high vacuum systems, high voltage supplies, robotics, electromechanical systems or precision stages is preferred.
- Experience servicing SEM/FIB/TEM instruments is a plus
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally to other locations in the Americas and Europe.
