We are immediately hiring for a Field Service Engineer. This position is traveling 80-90% of the time. Responsibilities: Installation, Service and Repair of Company systems. Examples include but not limited to: 1. Dropweight towers 2. Simple Medical equipment i.e. Catheter systems, Auto Injectors 3. Torsion systems 4. Temperature Chambers 5. Calibrate equipment to relevant standards and procedures 6. Use and train most current test methods 7. Evaluate the result of test for reasonableness 8. Customer training of operation and software of Company machines 9. Modify specifications or design new test methods as required 10. Prepare written reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025 11. Support customer and other personnel with technical advice when required 12. Troubleshoot electronic & electromechanical devices from schematic and mechanical drawings OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain all Company tools and parts in good operating condition 2. Maintain vehicle to OEM standards with prior approval and all major repairs 3. Cooperates with Service scheduler to achieve the most timely and cost effective means of performing duties 4. Maintain a satisfied customer base 5. Timely submission of all reports weekly 6. Participate in developing accreditation programs /training 7. Support the quality program * Position requires large amount of travel (up to 80%) Job Requirements Experience/Required Skills: 1. Bachelor s degree or higher in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 2. Meet requirements for accreditation as defined by A2LA and ISO/IEC 17025. 3. Prior experience with universal destructive testing machines and extensometers highly desired
