Our client represents quality power and precision air technology manufacturers to local PNW companies, where they plan, install, and maintain the industry's highest-quality environments for technical applications.This 21-year-old company is looking for qualified talent to join their UPS service team. The Service Manager running this division served himself in the Navy and spent time with an OEM before joining the ranks of this up-and-coming company. Perform field service-related activities such as, startups, preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repairs on UPS, lighting inverter and battery backup systems across a multitude of manufacturers in Oregon and Washington.Responsibilities:- Attend leading edge UPS product training from OEM manufacturers.- Work with team members to complete custom and large installation projects.- Properly document, label, and return all parts utilized in the repair of equipment.- Utilize bulletins and schematics to trouble shoot various equipment.- Complete maintenance practices that conform to company and OEM policy.- Removal and replacement of UPS batteries.- Willing to travel between OR and WA with occasional overnight stays.Skills required:Must comply with all NFPA/IEEE safety policies, practices, and policy.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and complete reports.Able to work in fast paced environments.Must be able to lift 75 lbs.Must be able to travel for direct product training (1-2 weeks per course).Schedule:8-hour shiftMonday to FridayOn call rotationWeekends as needed (very seldom)Ability to relocate: (Oregon/Washington)$80 - $85K salary range, limited overnight travel for a field role, company truck, company tools, credit card, and full benefitsHere is the chance to join a growing company in the UPS space, while under the leadership of a veteran who wants other veterans to learn from him in this ever-growing industry.
