Your responsibilities:- System installation - Routine and reactive maintenance - Equipment upgrades - Electronic troubleshooting and component replacement - Reporting of field activities - Travel and scheduling effectively- Maintaining quality recordsServices are predominantly provided for customers in hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician's offices. Based out of the Long Island, NYC, NJ or Connecticut region. Travel to other areas as needed. You will need to have experience working with common electronic test equipment like Digital Multi-Meters and safety analyzers like a Fluke ESA615.Work can require extensive travel, up to 3 to 4 nights per week, possibly for several weeks in a row - generally home on weekends. The overnight travel can be less depending on where you live and which hospital you are working at. Note that the more travel the more overtime you can accumulate on your paycheck.The position requires a significant amount of walking and occasional lifting of heavy items up to 75 lbs.Predominantly, work is performed in hospitals where a safe environment is provided.Base pay is in the $30 - $38/hour range depending on experience and how strongly you interview.Overtime is currently running about 20% at time and a half, but the client is trying to bring that down by hiring more field service engineers although once they hire more the overtime rate would still be at least 5% for anywhere from a small to a large boost to your paycheck.It is not hard to earn $80k with overtime.No company car is provided but the client works with Motus, a company that handles their vehicle policy.FSEs use their own vehicles and are reimbursed a fixed and variable amount of money per month based on the car type and miles driven.Public transportation would not work well as a regular means of transportation. Tolls and parking are reimbursed.
