With a solid commitment to research and development, the company continues to push the boundaries of medical technology to improve patient outcomes.As a Field Service Engineer, you will maintain and operate the proton therapy system (PTS) at customer sites. This role involves troubleshooting, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring the system operates according to specifications. You will interact with customers, the professional and technical staff to resolve operational issues and provide high-quality customer support. Additionally, you will work on other complex clinical systems related to the PTS, such as motion control systems, CT scanners, X-ray devices, and robotic manipulators.Military veterans with electrical, electronic MOSs, or nuclear profiles are well-suited for this role. Their technical training and experience in handling complex systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance align perfectly with the responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer. A veteran's ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and commitment to safety make them ideal candidates for ensuring the proton therapy system operates efficiently and effectively.The role involves local travel to a home-based customer, and you work in pairs (one on the first shift and the other on the second shift). However, you must be open to national travel for vacation coverage, or manpower needs across the company. Due to the sensitive nature of the equipment and its complexity, you will need to be an exceptional communicator, a top-notch troubleshooter, and someone who focuses on the critical care of people.
