They are leaning on military veteran talent for Field Service roles as their growth has increased.This is a high travel role. You can expect to be traveling by air or by car Monday through Friday up to most of the month (depending on the season; home almost every weekend). Travel can fluctuate seasonally. Field Service Technicians are charged with the installation/commissioning of new equipment, repair and service and calibration across the US, but primarily focused on a regional territory. You will also be completing preventative maintenance, field modifications, software upgrades and calibrations as assigned by the Field Service Manager. Additionally, you will repair parts cycle times, and ensure that parts, and test standards are prepared in-advance for on-site visits. Candidates need to have a strong hands-on mechanical skillset/aptitude. You must be able to be professional in appearance and communication. Any familiarity with calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gates and bore gages, electronic/electrical controls will be a plus, but not required.Experience teaching or coaching, with the ability to train small groups on complex topics with patience and professionalism will be very welcomed in this role. This is a customer facing role and you are the company expert in the field.Employees are sent to the Canton, MA office for two weeks of intense training, completed in their HQ facility. They will fly home, and then Monday through Friday, fly to a customer location and train with another Field Service Technician prior to being released to operate individually.Enjoy countless travel benefits that put money back in your pocket and make your PTO that much better.
