- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while providing detailed reports to the back office.
- Serve as the primary on-site technician for assigned customers, with travel to additional locations as needed.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance in alignment with operational standards.
- Provide post-maintenance production support to achieve or surpass pre-maintenance efficiency levels, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation malfunctions, utilizing root cause analysis and escalating issues when necessary.
- Address technical claims and collaborate with the quality department to resolve issues, including detailed root cause analysis.
- Install rebuilding kits following established procedures and restore equipment to production readiness while exceeding customer expectations.
- Assess system performance, implement corrective actions, and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Engineering, with a focus on electrical or mechanical disciplines preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of technical experience in equipment or machinery maintenance, particularly in a service-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with carton and packaging technologies; experience with aseptic systems is an advantage.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken); bilingual capabilities in Spanish or German are a plus.

- Willingness to travel extensively, including international trips, with travel comprising at least 80% of the role.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
