Field Service Mechanic Compressors - Orangetown, NYField Service Technician Mechanic Engineering Tech Repair Maintenance Install Rotary Screw Air Compressors Centrifugal Air Compressors Compressed Air Systems Refrigeration Drying Chillers Dehydrators Purifiers Flow Control Fluid Handling Driers Dryers Machinery Applications Fluid Flow Control _ .REGIONAL TRAVEL ONLYPerform installations, scheduled preventative maintenance, rebuilds, and related repairs to ensure Compressed Gas and Pneumatic Systems operate efficiently for clients.*** Install and upgrade compessor equipment including:--- High Pressure Gas Compressors in the range of 100-6000 PSI--- Air Cooled & Water Cooled Gas Compressors--- Oil Free Compressors--- Gas-Tight Helium Compressors--- Compressed Natural Gas CNG Compressors--- Nitrogen, Oxygen, Biogas,Refrigerant, CO2, etc.--- Synthesis Compressors--- Centrifugal Compressors--- Rotary Compressors--- Robot and Machinery Applications Fluid Flow Control*** Complete preventative maintenance projects, repairs, and work orders at client locations.*** Read technical drawings, schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams to facilitate troubleshooting equipment.*** Perform maintenance on Rotary and Centrifugal Compressors; Oil free air compressors; Diaphragm compressor and vacuum pumps; Liquid ring and rotary valve compressors; Stationary and portable electric air compressors; Positive displacement blowers; Piping systems; Control and monitoring systems for air compressors; Compressed air and desiccant dryers, etc.*** Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.*** Train client eqipment operators in basic preventative maintenance.Requires track record with machine components & sub systems like the following:--- Impellers & Rotors--- Pinions & Pinion Gears--- Seals--- Filters--- Bearings--- Gearboxes--- Bullgears--- Rotor, Rider Rings and Thrust Assemblies--- Vents & Vanes--- Valves--- Nozzles--- Tanks--- Lubrication Systems--- Shaft Couplers--- Intercoolers--- Control Panels--- Programmable Logic Controllers PLCs--- Instrumentation--- Sensors--- Actuators and Automated Valves--- Electric Motors & Motor DrivesEnjoy competitive compensation as well as overtime opportunities and travel compensation for any time spent in commute to and from customer locations.
