Location: Cranberry Township,PA, USA
We are looking for a Field Service Manager to join on team reporting out of our Cranberry, PA office! The Field Service Manager is in charge of supervising and assisting in the coordination and activities of field service technicians engaged in servicing, repairing, and maintaining material handling equipment, which may include lift trucks, dock levelers, commercial garage doors, industrial batteries, and conveyor systems. Conduct business process analysis, apply management controls, and monitor measurable trends in field service operation. Lead and facilitate group discussions, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and solve problems in coordination with other divisions in the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Manages a team of 8 or more employees in the Service department
* Hires and trains new employees including establishing and monitoring training and development plans
* Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned employees.
* Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
* Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
* Ensures employees follow all safety guidelines and reporting policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Provide field service leadership and management.
* Provide customer service.
* Engage in business process development and improvement.
* Continually monitor and improve field service performance indicators.
* Manage growth of the customer base and the commensurate field service workforce
* Reduce costs.
* Execute budget planning and management.
* Additional duties as required or assigned. Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
* Management/leadership experience in the material handling industry.
* Industry experience
* Proficient in the use of computers and other devise that run software applications which may include Microsoft Office, Google applications, communication software, and CRMs and other data base applications,
