Job DescriptionTitle: HVAC Service Manager Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee our residential and light commercial service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC systems, previous experience in service management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a team of up to 20 technicians, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure that all service calls are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor technician performance and productivity, implementing strategies for improvement as necessary.
- Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular meetings with the service team to review performance metrics, address any issues, and provide feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, equipment installations, and customer interactions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies, including safety protocols and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to optimize workflow and achieve company goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with EPA Universal and/or TDLR certification.
- Proven track record of success in service management, including leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional technical proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting and repair, with a rating of 10/10.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Comfortable with firm pricing, negotiation, and the collection of payments.
- Proficient in computer software and applications related to scheduling, invoicing, and customer management.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duty as needed.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HVAC industry.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
