Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities,

  • Provide Incident resolution, or other required support action, which cannot be accomplished without local support presence, to resolve the issues
  • Provision and support for Remote Site Networks (e.g., LAN, WAN connection), Compute, Storage, and related operations (e.g., procure, design, build, systems monitoring, incident diagnostics, troubleshooting, resolution and escalation, security management, and capacity planning/analysis) as required to meet field support requirements.
  • Provide Break/Fix Level 2 support for in-scope end-user hardware and software as coordinated through the Service Desk.
  • Provide remote and deskside support to authorized users as needed to fulfill service requirements.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of in-scope hardware, include asset tagging and recording. Ensure CMDB is updated with current configuration information and asset owner.
  • Provide technical support for all hardware/equipment of the manufacturing site computing infrastructure (including site networks).
  • Collaborate with site leads and plant leadership (IT and staff) on small projects.
  • Fulfill requests for replacement devices, components, or peripherals from the spares inventory; update CMDB as appropriate.
  • Manage device life cycle for devices as part of ongoing refresh process.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to consolidate infrastructure, improve utilization, availability, and cost.
  • Associate must be able to travel across North America.
