Job Description:

Position Overview: The Field Services Supervisor will manage the work of the field service technician who perform and design complex systems, installations and maintenance, test, repairs and troubleshoots network equipment problems. Participate in engineering problem resolution and technical design/modification negotiations with and for presentations to customers. Develop work schedules and complete administrative reports, e.g., time cards, daily statistics, logs, and task narratives. Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites. Work with equipment, field personnel and customers to understand the problems and find innovative solutions. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the function. The position will report to the Regional VP of Field & Technical Services.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assigns, coordinates and manages all job assignments and activities to ensure efficiency in project completion; conducts performance evaluations, salary reviews and other tasks relating to department employees
  • Creates and maintains a culture and expectation for compliance with all safety policies and practices within the department
  • Creates and maintains a culture of continuous improvement within the department
  • Maintains records such as time sheets, employee evaluations, accident reports, etc.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs and field services to ensure tasks are performed timely, efficiently and with a high degree of quality
  • Work with the Cimarrons manufacturing and quality group to ensure equipment is designed for specific customer requirements before being shipped to the field
  • Act as a resource for manufacturing, engineering, sales and field service personnel for technical questions
  • Work with Regional Parts Manager to specify the spare parts to be stocked for sold equipment and customer-owned equipment
  • Manage milk run (scheduled pick-up and deliveries) for parts and components in region
  • Manage component repair shop at facility and track profitability and efficiency
  • In conjunction with VP of Field & Technical Services, prepare parts & service proposals
  • In conjunction with VP of Field & Technical Services, prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Provide technical training for field technicians under your direction
  • Supervise subordinates, review their work, their field service reports, check on any reported difficulties, and correct any reported deficiencies
  • Adherence to all Cimarron safety requirements and responsibility for the safety and well-being of the field services group and all personnel, including regular safety training.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 4 years technician experience in an official Leadership capacity
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Successfully pass and obtain DOT certification
  • Successfully pass and obtain DISA certification
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Business or Engineering
  • 2 years manufacturing experience

  • Vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
  • Travel
  • Outdoor work requiring heavy physical labor
  • Position is 80% outside environment. Worker is subjected to weather elements and must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions.

  • Knowledge of machines, tools, their uses benefits, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools, and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
  • Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, assets, and techniques used for maximizing the manufacturing of products
  • Comfortable in leadership role
  • Capable of effectively representing Cimarron Energy in community and professional settings
  • Capable of operating the computer systems and software required for basic office functionality
  • Possess excellent communication skills oral and written
  • Possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Must be able to multi task, establish priorities, delegate to others and hold them accountable
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that provides the appropriate level of direct involvement and leadership of a multi shift operation
  • Specific knowledge of plant and oil field equipment, specifically production, processing, treating, liquid handling, regulatory and rotary equipment
  • Computer skills including MS programs
  • Specific knowledge of panels, PLCs and electronic controls
  • Ability to make recommendations for additions or modifications to enhance the reliability and performance of equipment and systems
  • Must have the ability to recognize and solve problems
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
  • Travel as needed
