Global leader in industrial air compressor systems seeking Field Service Techs to provide onsite customer support for high tech air compressor systems. In this role you will travel to customer sites where you will conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on large compressor systems. Troubleshooting is a mix of mechanical and electrical work. You will leverage your mechanical experience and learn the controls elements of the systems. You'll need to be capable of troubleshooting logically - without depending on the tech-manual or flow charts. There is very little supervision in this role, you'll be dispatched from your home daily and be expected to build your own schedule. High travel (70%) mostly driving company truck. Territory includes IA, KS, MO, and NE. You'll need to live around Des Moines (preferably a little north of Des Moines). Compensation ranges from $22 - $28/hr + overtime (door to door) + Per Diem. Total first year compensation $75 - $110k.
