Broadwind Clean Fuels is looking for a hardworking, flexible, experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in the Midland / Odessa, TX area. You'll be involved in making sure CNG Pressure Reduction Systems are operating efficiently from installation, inspection, troubleshooting, adjustment and repair services. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior equipment maintenance experience and is capable of working with limited supervision. Traveling around the West TX area is required by way of a company service truck, which a valid driver's license is required. Academic/Experience/Credentials/Certifications:
* 3+ years' experience with automation drives and PLC's in a field service tech or maintenance role required.
* Ideally based in the Midland/Odessa area
* Experience with National Electric Code requirements for installations in Unclassified and Class 1, Div 1 or Div 2 areas.
* Experience with PLC's with ability to connect to Allen-Bradley PLC's and Panel View 7 HMI using software to download/upload programs, troubleshoot, and make minor changes as required.
* Automotive tech program experience desired.
* Experience with plumbing, boilers, air compressors, PLC's, generators, plumbing highly desired.
* Experience with assembly operations is required.
* Must possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Specialized Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
* Ability to travel to customer sites for training and troubleshoot and repair/replace devices, approx. 75% travel
* Proficiency in MS Office suite.
* Read and understand manuals, blueprints, and schematics
* Robust analytical skills with exceptional reasoning abilities; Ability to make sound decisions with a variety of information
* Ability to work on multiple projects successfully while maintaining deadlines
* Ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing
