Mersino is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, individual to join our growing team as a Field Service Technician for our Conyers, GA branch, working in and around our Atlanta territory!The Field Service Technician/ Pump Installer maintains, services and repairs the company's mechanical equipment in the field including pumps, generators and related equipment.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:* Service, repair, and maintain the company's diesel pumps, fleet and mechanical equipment* Perform quality checks on repaired equipment items* Maintain service order processes, provide descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, and ensure the appropriate paperwork is filed* Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed* Procure parts and supplies as requiredQualifications:* Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required* Appropriate equipment repair certification desired* Experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines desired* Experience with electric motors a plus!* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements* Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkwardSpecific Expectations* Ability to work effectively with others* Ability to multi-task in a changing environment* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines* Strong time management and organizational skills* Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkwardDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
