Job Description:
The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade, and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipment.Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner.Performs technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipment.Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary.Keeps parts inventory current.Participates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territory.Provides best in the business  customer service.Adheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS.Skills/RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED required.Must be at least 21 years old.Current driver's license and vehicle insurance is mandatory.Entry level; gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus.Must have 2 years' experience in electronics and/or computer networking.Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators.Basic computer skills required; may need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook).Understands basic AC/DC electronics.Basic understanding of computer networking.Sound problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.A flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe physical demands/work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
