Job Description:
Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for customers and factories trouble shooting problems in the field and providing factory start-ups and generally works independently. All aspects of providing technical support and problem solving for customers, factories and outside sales personnel.Position Responsibilities:* Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufactures to including but not limited to:* Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems* Provides control programming and testing in the field* Provides investigation and analysis in the field* Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems* Other duties as assigned by managerEssential Skills:* 2-3 years' experience on electrical or low voltage system* Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming* Basic understanding of electrical power systems* Understanding of basic Networking principles* Ability to read and understand building and control drawings* Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems* Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making* Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written* Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly* Must be able to travel extensively* Must possess a valid driver's license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage* Must be proficient on word, excel, and outlook
