Job DetailsJob Location: AAON Tulsa - Tulsa, OKPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.29 - $37.94 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: SalesDescriptionJob Summary: Travels extensively to complete nationwide field service calls in all weather conditions, day and night, which is normallydone by driving a company vehicle to field locations. Partners with contractors and customers to assure unit performance and build positive relationships in the field.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Completes field service reports on jobs performed at each site (digital photos, descriptions of issues, etc., to correct problems in the future).* Performs AAON factory rep startups using checklist while initializing units and handling any issues found.* Performs diagnostic tests (check pressures, temperatures, electronics, electrical wiring, mechanical parts, etc.) to verify proper operation.* Performs troubleshooting and repair for electrical, mechanical, cabinet and refrigeration circuit issues; determines parts needed for repairs.* Meets with contractors and customers to assure unit performance and build positive field relationships.* Purchases parts, supplies, materials (refrigerant, brazing rods, copper connectors, hand tools, gases for torches, etc.) in the field as required.* Replaces failed components within equipment on units in the field (compressors, coils, electronic components, recover refrigerant, etc.).* Performs routine preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and modifications.* Trains building maintenance personnel and service companies in performing maintenance on the units, understanding the operation sequences, and using electronic service tools.* Maintains inventory stock and equipment, documents service-related activities.* Collaborates effectively with team members and stakeholders to optimize service delivery.* Maintains company vehicle (oil and fluid changes, tires, alignments, tune-ups, etc.) as recommended by company policies/procedures.QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:HVAC Refrigerant and Technical Training Certifications, HS diploma/GED, and 3-5 years of HVAC experience required; associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field is highly preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Possesses strong knowledge and understanding of HVAC equipment and operation.* Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.* Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication abilities.* Capable of effectively working both independently and collaboratively* Strong attention to detail.* Proficient in MS Office.Work Environment:* Work remotely with the expectation to travel by vehicle at least 70% of the time.* Frequent visits to the field, year-round in all weather conditions, day and night.* Lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extended periods of time.Disclaimer:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
