Position Details: Title: Field Service Technician III Location: Boston, MA Shift: Mon-Friday 1st shift, a standard work schedule will be set, although some jobs may require an earlier/later start or night scheduled work Compensation: $27-$32/hr depending on qualifications and experience! The company will provide vehicle, lodging, company card and cover all associated travel costs. Position Description: --- Work under the supervision of the Field Services Department --- Installation and Service of the Company's Cart Containment and other Systems --- Perform Preventive Maintenance of the Company's Cart Containment and other Systems. --- Complete any service and repair work orders, primarily within your assigned areas as they arise. --- Travel to various areas of the country to complete Installation, Service and Maintenance of the Company's Systems. --- Makes substantive and comprehensive decisions on job sites regarding appropriate work needed to remedy system issues. --- Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, while remaining highly organized and efficient. --- Assistance in the Supervision and Training of Field Services Apprentices, Field Services Technicians I and II, and Contractors. --- Take and follow through on directions and instructions. --- Adhere to the Company's standard operating procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. --- Minimum 3+ years of experience of experience directly related to the installation of devices in a retail environment. --- Experience working with Security Camera Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Electrical Devices, and Wireless Devices a plus+! --- Experience with dustless concrete cutting and asphalt, running wires through walls and ceilings, troubleshooting and tuning electrical devices, bending and running conduit, using power tools and scissor lifts. --- Be customer focused and a good problem solver. --- Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, be highly organized and efficient. --- Able to take directions and follow through on instructions.
