We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. This role involves supervising the start-up of our product line, performing maintenance procedures, and providing warranty work. The technician will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on refrigeration systems, including compressor repairs. This position also involves assisting other departments in the development and improvement of products from a service perspective and handling controls-related issues such as PLC and Microlink.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise start-up of the company's product line.
- Perform maintenance procedures and warranty work on the company's product line.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on refrigeration systems.
- Conduct compressor repairs.
- Assist other departments in developing new products and improving existing products from a service perspective.
- Address controls-related issues, including PLC and Microlink.
- Recommend improved tools, procedures, and devices for service operations.
- Submit all required paperwork, including time sheets, expense reports, service tickets, start-up reports, and inspection reports, in a timely manner.
- Provide technical training to users/customers.
- Maintain and troubleshoot spiral freezers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Profile and Qualifications:
- High school or trade school diploma or equivalent.
- RETA CIRO Certified preferred
- Four years of experience with industrial refrigeration equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve issues.
- Detail-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- 100% travel required within the USA.
- Most weekends off.
