Field Service Technician
Home base is in Painesville, OH with 50% travel
$45-$55k annual salary, or higher for the right experience
Day shift, with ability to work varied hours when travelling
Direct Hire opportunity
As the Field Service Technician you will serve customers by installing and servicing systems and products at the customer site while providing training to their staff.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance of x-ray equipment.
Installation of equipment, troubleshooting problems, maintaining records, and replacing or fixing components and tools.
Analyze work orders, plan daily travel schedule, investigate complaints, conduct tests, resolve problems.
Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installation, and performing acceptance tests.
Keep equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Skills/Qualifications
2+ Years experience in mechanical and electronics troubleshooting.
Must be able to analyze information using good judgement and confidentiality.
Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
Be able to make reservations for flights, rental vehicles, and hotels (company paid).
High school diploma or equivalent, Technical college a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
