Our client is a leading company that provides continuous automated monitoring to a limitless number of applications in a wide range of industries. From pharmaceutical to blood banking, biomedical research to biotech and hospitals, this company has become the standard by which other monitoring systems are judged.Their systems monitor critical parameters such as temperature, humidity, differential pressure, lighting control, carbon dioxide, oxygen, light and air changes per hour. It monitors critical equipment such as stability chambers, refrigerators, freezers, LN2 Tanks, incubators, animal holding rooms, ultra-low freezers, cold rooms, and clean rooms.This organization has a long history of hiring military talent and are looking to strategically add Field Service Technicians across the United States.In this role, the candidate repairs, calibrates, maintains, and validates monitoring equipment and instrumentation used in health care and medical research field by performing the following duties:- Installs technical equipment in medical and research facilities- Inspects, repairs, calibrates, maintains, and validates electrical, mechanical and network equipment following manufacturer's specifications, using test and analysis instruments - Maintains inventory of parts issued- Demonstrates and explains correct operation of equipment to customers- Modifies or develops instruments or devices, under supervision of the engineering staff - Organizes installations of systems according to the engineer and project manager specifications - Serves as lead on specific installation assignments- Works as salesperson and service technician for the company to the customer - Studies technical manuals and attends training sessions to maintain current knowledgeBase salary, full Benefits, 401k, per diem when traveling, company issued credit card, tools needs, all travel booked and paid for company. Gas mileage reimbursement.They are looking for folks with strong electrical/electronic backgrounds and some basic computer knowledge. OJT.Locations: Chicago, IL, Columbus/Akron, OH -Tampa, FL, Mission Viejo/Temecula, CA. Austin/Houston/Dallas, TX. Albuquerque, NM.Worcester/Boston, MA, Orange, NJ, Baltimore, MD area.Travel is mostly regional but may fly sometimes. 40-60% travel during week. 2-3 overnight some weeks.
