As a field service technician, you will work on water treatment and waste-water facilities and be highly compensated for it.In this position you will be dispatched from your home office and report directly to the customer site for the installation of new equipment or to perform maintenance as required.Assignments include working in confined spaces. This position is considered remote work from home requiring maturity and self-discipline. Initial training will be at the Chelsea MA shop to include specialized safety training, motor, controls and pump training.The skill set is mechanical with light electrical as well as a customer service disposition and maturity. Most evenings will be at home with the occasional overnight for special projects.This position offers advanced mechanical training in pumps, motors and controls. It offers the ability to work from home and within new environments.Work hours 7am - 330pmOvertime 4-15 hours a week.You will be compensated for all confined space work at a rate of $75 per job and will receive the going prevailing wage rate on city and state funded projects 1st year will include $50- $62 an hour 2nd year $64 - $73 an hour.You will receive a company truck to take home every night. Company gas card, Home Depot card, company credit card, I-phone and I-pad.Full benefits (55% of standard benefits are covered) 4hrs/month sick days. 401k match 4%.Can live in bordering states of Massachusetts.
