Our client is looking for a field service technician that is motivated to learn and try new things. This job involves installation, maintenance and customer support for their filling systems and other packaging machinery.The position will be based out of their Madison Heights, VA manufacturing facility, but work will be primarily located at customer sites (indoors) and will require significant domestic and some international travel (none until covid ends). You can expect 50-60% travel.Your duties will include:- Installation and hands-on assembly work- Service and maintenance of equipment after installation- Routine maintenance work- Operation support- Trouble shooting- Communication with customers- Communication with sub-contractors- Test run and verification work support- Operator training support- Calibration work supportDocumentation:- Technical documents- Work reports / recordsOn the Job Training (OJT) will be provided to familiarize you with the job, and help you to work independently.$22 - $30/hour + overtime + Full benefits- All travel paid for/reimbursed (typically see $10 - $20K in overtime yearly) - Per diem, flights and hotels paid for by company.
