This company is a small electrical/electronic manufacturing company in Chelmsford, MA. As a global company, they market products in all electronics manufacturing segments including high-volume consumer products such as mobile phones, tablets, computers, and gaming systems as well as medical devices, networking, communication, automotive and aerospace through established world-class distributors and manufacturing representatives. They provide full technical and support services for their customers on a worldwide basis.They are looking for field service technicians based out of Chelmsford, MA. You will travel to different sites around the country setting up, repairing, and maintaining the machines they distribute. They are the leading supplier for x-ray component counters in the market and they have the largest base of rework systems in the world. You will be sent out to service these machines and do set ups. The travel is only during the week and service/install usually only takes a day or two. You will travel Monday, service Tuesday-Wednesday, travel Thursday and be home Friday for the weekend. The travel is only 3 out of the 4 weeks. The 4th week you will be in the shop. Base salary with room for growth.
