Our client is searching for a Field Service Technician the ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and/or electrical background. Significant training will provide you with the knowledge necessary to repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test complex technical problems on industrial machine tool products.Daily duties will include on-site travel to customer locations and providing phone support to help the customer's maintenance team trouble shoot problems when the situation permits. The job requires travel throughout your assigned region, occasional national travel, and very good communication skills.The position provides a solid base salary, ample overtime opportunity, and most importantly a formidable proving ground to launch a career into one of the most sought-after skill sets in high-tech manufacturing CNC Machinery.Experience needed:- Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection techniques, voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other measurement equipment- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems- Ball screws, bearings, gearing and various way systems)- Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques.$26/hour, plus plenty of overtime.
