There is a ton of growth opportunities.This organization is seeking a skilled, knowledgeable Mechanical Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair pumps and equipment for their customers in industries such as power generation, oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, and wastewater. The position will include repair and service responsibility as an individual technician, but also require customer personnel and subcontractor supervision and project management. The first 6 - 9 months of employment will be dedicated primarily to training to develop a deep understanding of the company's more complex pumps, including high energy boiler feed pumps.This client requires an experienced mechanic who can provide confident expertise in the face of operational problems. The Field Service Technician will repair and install equipment, oversee start-up, conduct maintenance, and monitor the performance of company products at the customer's locations.While the Field Service Technician may be the only representative onsite, the tech can call upon the resources of the company to ensure that their products are operating at peak performance.This organization depends on the Field Service Technician to be an indispensable resource to their customers, creating a lasting competitive advantage for their products and services.They are looking for folks in Corpus Christi, Texas, the Rockies region (Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and their Midwest to Northeast region.This is a travel Monday - Friday job with occasional Saturday work. Will either have flights paid for customer visit or use service vehicle, or mileage reimbursement.$30 - $35/hour plus overtime plus overtime (time and a half.)
