This client is a leader in automated parking and security control systems, and they are seeking a field service tech to serve locations in Connecticut, working from the Cheshire, CT office. In this role you will work with facilities managers and subcontractors to install, commission, and troubleshoot automated parking revenue solutions systems. Bringing your electronics and mechanical experience to the table, you will learn computer networking, fiberoptics and a variety of software/system integration skills.They are seeking an exceptional individual with talent and ability in both the electro-mechanical and IT disciplines. If you enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting on a wide variety of computer-based and electro-mechanical systems, this could be an excellent career for you.Duties for this position would include technical support and service of parking control systems. Supported devices would include:- Automatic pay stations, intercom systems, access control systems- LPR, revenue control systems, barrier gates, ticket dispensers- Serial/ethernet communications, and troubleshooting network/computer systemsExperience in parking controls or access control systems is a major plus.Base salary, plus full benefits, (medical, life, vision, dental, 401k), A company car, laptop, iPad, and a cell phone.
