Our client is a pioneer in dental CAD/CAM technology where they are the leading innovators and preferred full-service providers in digital dental prosthetics. They are in search of Electronics Technicians who want to become a Field Service Techs to cover either the Northeast Region (ideally Boston or NY) or Great Lakes Region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, or Pennsylvania). This position will be remote with the expected travel of 4 days a week with no weekend work or on-call.The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities, including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customer's needs.Qualifications:- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Experience with SalesForce CRM (preferred)- Experience with power and hand tools- Ability to travel - 4 days a week / home on weekends- Ability to lift up to 100 poundsObjectives of the position.Provide technical service to customers, 1st level of remote support and assistance to distributors, their Product Specialists and end users. Provide fast response (preferably within few days) to Technical service and Maintenance inquiries.Main duties:- Ensure customers happiness through exceptional and timely repairs of equipment- Work efficiently to ensure proper resolution of company/client problems- Technical expertise including liaison with Austrian parent company- Support analysis of issues including working closely with Help Desk- Maintain documentation and proper records of work operations- Travel for repairs/services as needed- Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers- Practice and adhere to all safety and trainingFull benefits plan (Medical dental, vision, life and disability, company card for all expenses, 401k up to 4% matching.
