**Job Title: Field Service Technician**

**Job Description**

We install and service CNC machines in manufacturing facilities.

Shift, Schedule, and Pay:

- 1st Shift 7:30am-5:30pm

Expected to be onsite at customers' facility 8-5 with a lunch break

First and last 30 min of commute are unpaid

- Start and end time varies based on the customer locations

Most customers are 1 hour or less drive so days could last from 7a-6p

- Standard work week will be 40-50 hours

- $30-$40/hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Receive daily project assignments

- Install machines into customer facilities

- Fulfill reactive troubleshooting and maintenance

- 60% electrical and 40% mechanical

- Electrical systems:

24V-230V AC/DC

Power supplies, slices, breakers, starters, drives (Fanuc), servos

Computers and controllers

Read ladder logic

Troubleshooting with voltmeters and megohmmeters

- Mechanical systems:

Hydraulics and pneumatics

Bearings, screws, 3-phase motors, bolts, spindles

- Install software when necessary, mostly Winmax

- Will mostly start on the Hurco and Smart machines

Equipment:

- Hurco Mills/Lathes

- Smart Mills/Lathes

- Okuma Mills/Lathes

- Hwacheon

- Star turn EDM

- Mitsubishi

**Hard Skills**

+ Mechanical maintenance

+ Electrical maintenance

+ Experience with Fanuc or Hurco systems

+ Experience with voltmeters/megohmmeters

**Soft Skills**

+ Ability to work alone and autonomously

+ Great communication and customer service skills

**Job Type**

This is a permanent position.

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Dayton, Ohio.

**Work Environment**

Travel to various manufacturing facilities across Ohio and Indiana. Virtually all industries so work environments will vary.
