Our client is looking for a field service technician that is motivated to learn and try new things. This job involves installation, maintenance and customer support for their filling systems and other packaging machinery.Your duties will include:- Installation and hands-on assembly work- Service and maintenance of equipment after installation- Routine maintenance work- Operation support- Trouble shooting- Communication with customers- Communication with sub-contractors- Test run and verification work support Operator training support- Calibration work supportDocumentation:- Technical documents- Work reports / recordsOn the Job Training (OJT) will be provided to familiarize you with the job and help you to work independently.The position will be based out of their Batavia, NY manufacturing facility, but work will be primarily located at customer sites (indoors) and will therefore require significant domestic and some international travel (none until Covid-19 ends). You can expect 50-60% travel. $26 - $30/hour + overtime + Full benefits- All travel paid for/reimbursed (typically will see $10 - $20k in overtime yearly) - Per diem, flights and hotels paid for by company.
