These rubber-tired gantry cranes are used across the globe and offer lifting solutions up to 1,000 metric tons and larger.Job DescriptionMarine Travelift is excited to be adding full-time field service technicians to our team. As part of the leading boat handling equipment & industrial lifting machine manufacturer, field service technicians are responsible for providing service to domestic and international Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift customers and equipment. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members. This position is 40-60 hours/week and requires travel at least 50% of the time. Qualified candidates should have experience in maintaining industrial equipment and strong hydraulic and electrical aptitude (Parker IQAN a plus).Job Responsibilities
  • Erect new equipment at customer sites and provide customer training on equipment usage and proper maintenance
  • Conduct field inspections on equipment previously purchased and provide feedback to the customer
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts list from inspections to the CustomerCare team
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines currently in service at customer sites
  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Job Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues using proper analysis, evaluation and diagnosis techniques
  • Heavy lifting and rigging experience
  • Ability to work at heights in excess of 50 feet
  • Excellent understanding of technical diagrams, schematics and manuals
  • Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time. Previous domestic and international travel experience is a must
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required
