Job Requirements:
- Troubleshoots equipment issues in production environment.
- Troubleshoot and or repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
- Provides support in areas of fabrication, assembly, cutting, pipefitting, and machining.
- Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematic and drawings.
- Work from oral and written instructions.
- Understand and use manuals and catalogues when ordering parts.
- Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures.
- Maintains adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
- Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain a good inventory of parts on assigned service vehicle.
- Must own appropriate hand tools for the trade.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
The Most Important Activities Performed:
- Troubleshoots equipment issues in production environment
- Troubleshoot and or repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Work from oral and written instructions
- Travel is required for this job
Physical Requirements:
- Requires ability to work off ladders, scaffolding and scissors lifts.
- Requires ability to do extended amounts of walking, moving equipment and tools.
Minimum Qualifications Required (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):
- Prior experience in a production environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience with pneumatic machinery is a plus, mechanical skills
- Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record (Required)
- Must have additional training in mechanical or electrical technology
