Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in manufacturing, machinery, electrical, IT.
- Experience in Preventative Maintenance and/or Commissioning and Install is a plus
- Experience in CMM or CNC troubleshooting, configuring, inputting (NO Programming) preferred - NOT REQUIRED
Schedule: M-F / 40 hours a week
Compensation:
- $35.00 - $50.00/hr - depending on experience
- Car allowance and gas reimbursement
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installs machines and performs preventative maintenance, repair, and calibration.
- Retrofits and installs new machines.
- Installs and tests new software.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make adjustments.
- Conducts customer training on machine maintenance.
- Drafts and maintains job documentation and reports, including those outlining procedures, productivity, repairs, and machine status.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to effectively communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management teams.
- In-depth understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, charts, and schematics.
- Resides within 50 miles of a major international airport.
