Position Overview The Field Service Technician will perform installations, troubleshooting, as well as maintaining products/equipment. The Field Service Technician will also identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed. The position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate installation of network elements related to all new sales orders to include all the installation related to power and power back-up. The Installation tech will be responsible for testing the newly installed circuit and providing the proper documentation back to the Service Delivery group. Essential Job Functions
- Equipment Installation.
- Maintenance and Reconfigurations.
- Troubleshooting and Outages.
- Trouble-Call Support.
- Provide periodic after hour On-Call support.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Other duties as so assigned.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- 3 years' experience in communications or telecom field.
- Hands-on experience with installation of electronic communication equipment.
- Hands-on experience operating related test equipment
