Field Technician

Summary
Field Technicians are primarily responsible for the hands-on maintenance and operation of pressure vessel field equipment. They work closely with other team members to ensure that all equipment functions correctly and meets the industry standards and safety regulations.
Regular duties include:
- Installing and configuring equipment and systems in the field.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operational.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faults in equipment and systems.
- Recording and maintaining accurate logs of equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Communicating technical issues and progress reports to supervisory personnel.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain secure working environments.
- Conducting site visits to assess the needs of the installation and prepare tools and equipment required for the job.
- Calibrating and testing equipment before deployment to ensure functionality.
- Providing onsite customer support and service, including training users on equipment operation.
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Collaborating with engineering and technical teams to give feedback on the field operations and help improve equipment design and functionality.
Required
- 3+ Years Field Tech experience in oil and gas
- Pressure vessel maintenance experience
- knowledgeable with ASME codes and standards
- Experience installing and configuring equipment and systems in the field
