Our client is the leader in the manufacturing of automatic lens edging machines, and they are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of a Field Service Technician.Reporting to the Technical Department Manager, the Field Service Technician will:- Perform machine installations and preventive maintenance at client facilities- Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve equipment issues- Provide machine training and demo to customers- Travel extensively (90%) across the USA, Canada and Mexico, and Europe for training purposes, the remaining time will be spent in the office performing remote support to customers- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to service management principles- Attend trade shows and exhibitions if requiredBase salary, $70 - $80K, plus overtime.
