Job Description:
Responsible for account management within assigned territory. Independently schedules and performs maintenance, service, and repair of Stryker Communications products installed at the customer site, including highly complex software systems. Troubleshoots and repairs complex technical issues. Maintains quality records post servicing of equipment, performs quality checks and account management post service.Essential duties & responsibilities:Works independently with no supervision.Follows written procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical electrical and electronic systems.Applies independent judgement and decision making capabilities to solve complex issues.Establishes and maintains process documentation per quality standards.Escalates issues requiring FDA notification and MDR reporting.Conduct customer training for hospital bio medical, and nursing staff.Interacts with customers with regard to post market surveillance activities.Maintains up to date ComplianceWire training.Has the independence and authority to perform required tasks to ensure all provisions of the quality system are met.Other duties as assigned by manager.Education & special trainings:High School Diploma requiredAssociate's degree, technical degree, or Bachelor's Degree preferredAV or IT background or Medical Equipment experience in OR lights and ceiling mounted equipmentQualifications & experience:2-years of installation or production line experience with Stryker Communications or 2-3 years industry experience with relevant field service experience.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Must be able to communicate effectively with surgeons, hospital staff, nurses and biomedical personnelAbility to prioritize issues.Computer literate.Functional with Microsoft Office including Excel, and WordAbility to quickly learn new systems and technologiesBasic electronic and mechanical aptitudeSkilled at cable termination of all standard digital and analog industry connectors.Knowledge of video, audio and data communications systemsKnowledge of OR etiquette and basic hospital procedureAbility to serve as strategic partner to build grow and maintain long lasting relationships with key accountsAbility to anticipate customer needs and provide service beyond customer expectationsPhysical & mental requirements:Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or negligible.Amount of force constantly to move objects.Must be able to review printed materials.Must have demonstrated fine motor skills.Must be able to use sophisticated test and office computer equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, telephone, Broadcast test andmeasurement equipment etc.).Ability to work with large pieces of equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
