External DescriptionAudubon is currently seeking a Water Filtration Technician to join our team. This is an Offsite/Remote role that required travel nationwide to support various projects, but we are looking for candidates in the Ludington, MI area. The Water Filtration Technician will support the Operations Manager in the execution of water filtration projects nationwide. To include, equipment and material prepping, onsite work, demobilizing equipment and assisting with media extractions post projects.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
- Travels to various projects located throughout the U.S.
- Sets up, operates and monitors water filtration equipment.
- Documents system readings and observes system performance.
- Open to learning and supporting other business segments within Audubon Engineering.
- Ensures quality standards are achieved.
- Reads and interprets system drawings and schematics.
- Assists other technicians in the field, as necessary.
- Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
- Works safely and completes all Company and Client safety daily paperwork.
- Adheres to Company policies and procedures in their entirety.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pipeline dewatering experience preferred.
- Experience in operating water filtration equipment preferred.
- Demonstrate capability to perform the responsibilities of a Water Filtration Technician.
- Knowledge and correct use of basic hand tools.
- Customer communication skills.
- Able to continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer and market relationships.
- Eligible to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
- Able to travel 80%.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
