Our client is a leading independent service organization for medical imaging equipment, with offices across the U.S. They are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. Job

Summary

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of Cath Lab/Cardiovascular/Invasive Radiography machines from multiple vendors (OEM). Additionally, the role will involve working on general Xray systems, Rad Rooms, Carms, and portable diagnostic imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, including Cath Lab and Cardiovascular systems, as well as General Xray, Rad Rooms, Carms, and portable systems.

• Assist in repairing Siemens CT and MRI systems.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibrations and system specification verifications.

• Learn and maintain knowledge of various imaging equipment to perform effective preventative maintenance.

• Independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure, time sensitive environments.

• Accurately document all service activities in accordance with company quality standards.

• Submit field service reports in a timely manner, per functional standards.

• Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipment.

• Communicate with account managers regarding services provided to clients.

• Manage and maintain company assets required for job functions.

• Travel regularly within a 4hour radius to meet customer service needs, with some assignments requiring flying and overnight stays.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience working with Cath Lab and Cardiovascular equipment.

• Formal training and certified through an OEM or accredited third-party.

• Experience with multivendor OEM imaging equipment.

• Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
