Nature of Work: Twiddy Field Services Technicians primarily work in the field and are responsible for performing various general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our homeowners' properties. Field Services Technicians are relied upon to be an expert in the field to diagnose problems, perform diagnostic tests, and make adjustments, repairs, replacements, or recommendations as necessary. Illustrative Tasks
- Respond promptly and positively to verbal, written, or electronic maintenance work orders and bring about an effective solution supporting the Field Services Department
- Complete work orders as assigned by Dispatcher in an efficient, professional, and timely manner
- Complete field tasks as assigned to meet owner, guest, office or company needs
- Responsible for a service vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Perform regular preventive home maintenance
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic devices, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Maintain assigned vehicle if applicable ensuring it is kept fully stocked, clean, and orderly
- Notify the Supply Chain Manager or Field Services Zone Lead of expiring safety inspection, routine vehicle service or problem
- Must at all times hold a valid NC Driver's License in order to perform daily duties
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in utilizing smartphone and tablet applications to access email, texts, and work orders in order to perform tasks
- Skilled in required tools that will help complete assigned tasks in the most efficient manner possible
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with the work order and dispatch system
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
