Job Description:

ATS is seeking a Field Services Technician for a full-time position. Candidate will be responsible for the field service testing and inspections of welds, bolting, fire proofing, paint, anchor pull, load testing, hydrostatic pressure and other specialties traveling on-site to our clients locations. Travel will include some local, regional, national or international locations as needed and ranges between 25% and 75% of the time. Candidate will work with other technicians on the team or may work on projects by themselves. Candidate should be a self-starter and should possess good interpersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills and well as computer skills are a must

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Set up and utilize testing and inspection equipment

+ Actively participate in ATS and client safety programs

+ Travel Requirement Willing to travel wherever the work may be (United States or Abroad)

+ Capable of working independently

+ Clean driving record

+ Field related position with work such as the following:

+ Visual weld inspections

+ Structural, non-structural, pressure vessels, various components, etc.

+ Bolting inspections

+ Structural, Skidmore testing, etc.

+ Fire Proofing Inspection

+ Field Applied Sprayed Fire-Resistive Materials and Thin-Film Intumescent

+ Fire-Resistive Materials

+ Paint inspection (NACE)

+ Coating thickness, pull off adhesion, holiday inspection, etc.

+ Anchor pull testing

+ anchors in concrete, rock, etc.

+ Load testing various parts

+ Hydrostatic pressure testing various components

+ Helium Leak Inspection

+ Capable of interacting with clients on a professional level

+ Willingness to achieve additional certification

Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

+ 3-5 years of experience inspecting and testing welds, bolting, fireproofing, paint, anchor pull, load testing, hydrostatic pressure or similar testing/inspection specialties.

+ Candidates must have a CWI and/or ICC Structural Steel and Bolting certification (S1 or S2).

+ Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time regionally, nationally with some international travel

+ Commercial or Military experience acceptable

Additional requirements:

+ Position would require driving as well as flying to job sights on occasion.

+ Candidate shall be able to work 40 plus hours per week to meet customer demands and ATS schedule. Overtime and occasional weekend work required.

+ Candidate shall be able to lift 55 pounds.

+ Candidate shall have a clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
