Our client is currently seeking a Field Superintendent to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
Develop a thorough understanding of the Contract Documents for assigned projects.
Works with Project Manager in planning and executing all pre-construction services such as purchase orders, subcontracts, schedules, job cost set-up and project pre-planning
Monitors and reports project cost and schedule performance; recommends corrective actions if needed.
Continually reviews the Contract Construction Documents for errors, conflicts, deficiencies, and potential value engineering; reports findings and recommendations.
Ensures that all materials and equipment necessary for the completion of the work of the project are ordered and are on site when required.
Ensures that work areas and work progress are adequately prepared for the work of subcontractors prior to the arrival of the subcontractors on site.
Ensures that subcontractor personnel understand the scope of work, scheduling, safety, and administrative requirements of the project.
Qualifications:
5+ years of supervisory experience in the construction industry is required.
Extensive knowledge of construction methods and materials, scheduling, and project documentation
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of construction safety and regulations, along with construction methods and materials, is required.
