Position: Field Supervisor (EMT-P) Location: Ada (Pontotoc County) Shift: Full-Time, 24 Hour Shifts, 120 Hours Per Pay Period We're a Little Different Our mission is clear. Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its Top 100 Places to Work.Overview: Perform direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced life support according to the goals of Mercy Health System.the philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy Standard of Care and Employee Code of Conduct. Field Supervisors also perform clerical, maintenance duties and act as preceptors of EMT and Paramedic students. Also supervisor EMT and Paramedic employees in daily routine and pre-hospital care setting. Field Supervisor make operational decisions in the absence of Manager-Regional EMS or Supervisor-Operations and instruct EMT and Paramedic on in-service training, education and driving. The incumbent in this position shall carry out his/her responsibilities and integrate into his/get style of management, the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life, and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he/she has responsibility. Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Licensure: Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state of practice, valid driver's license.Experience: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.Certifications/Registration: Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.Other: May be required to work differing shifts and schedulesPreferred Experience: Emergency Services or related Leadership experience, 3 years Paramedic experience, teaching experience.We Offer Great Benefits:Day-one comprehensive health, vision and dental coverage, PTO, tuition reimbursement and employer-matched retirement funds are just a few of the great benefits offered to eligible co-workers, including those working 32 hours or more per pay period!
