Job Description:
Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) is looking for a Field Supervisor who will be responsible for the daily operations of environmental and industrial services for multiple crews.About Us:Global Environmental and Industrial Response works with our clients to understand environmental, health, and safety needs to develop and provide the best solution. Our highly trained personnel are ready to serve industrial needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!Global provides heavy industrial cleaning services to utilities, phosphate/ mining, chemical plants, pulp & paper, and manufacturing facilities with specialization in hydro blasting and vacuum truck work. We provide customized solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, including preventative maintenance and repairs and full turn-key turnaround services. We also offer a variety of waste processing and handling services to ensure that waste generated from client sites, is collected, transported, and disposed of by local, state, and federal regulations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Coordinate work schedules/manpower needs.
  • Work with the team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Communicate with subordinates regarding safety, project updates, and human resources issues.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as documenting attendance, customer requests, job packs, project coordination, and status reports.
  • Follow GEIR safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
  • 3 hours per month of Leadership training

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-8 years experience managing and scheduling employees to perform industrial and environmental services required.
  • Prior experience in an industrial / plant setting is required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to interface with employees at all levels of the company. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to carry/move up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to perform manual labor in an outside setting.
  • Ability to perform work conducted in and around confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  • Ability to use a respirator in environments where there may be exposure to chemicals, fumes, etc. May be required to be clean-shaven.
  • Ability to work over an 8-hour shift if required. May be called out for an Emergency response.
  • Maintain a valid Driver License - CDL preferable.
  • Preferred 4-6 years of hands-on experience and operation with tools / heavy equipment.
PAY:
  • $23.50 - $28.00 (Pay is commensurate with prior experience)
