Job Description:
Join our team as a Field Support Technician, where you will provide essential technical support to retail tax offices globally. Your expertise will empower end users to work efficiently, utilizing your knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues via on-site assistance, phone, chat, and more. You'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations by effectively managing support requests and collaborating with business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, shutdown, and offer ongoing support for PC hardware and software in compliance with provided guidelines.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support field systems, offering assistance through phone, chat, and onsite visits.
- Support FR offices using remote assistance through phone and chat communications.
- Keep an organized inventory of district resources, including managing hot spare tracking for computer equipment.
- Ensure seamless communication with business partners and leadership on support-related issues.
- Manage network and telephone systems within the company offices.
- Document and track hardware problems and resolutions within our ticketing system.
- Assist with special projects as necessary.
- Utilize remote desktop capabilities to resolve technical issues effectively.
- Follow established processes and procedures to manage cases and inquiries.
- Maintain thorough product knowledge relevant to supported technology.
- Handle field contacts, ensuring adherence to quality measurement and policy guidelines.
- Perform other additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a Windows environment, including network configurations and MS Office (or equivalent).
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive with adequate insurance.
- Strong independent and team working abilities.
