SITECH Northeast, a subsidiary of Milton CAT, is hiring a Field Technician - Construction GPS for our Milford, MA location. Successful candidates should reside within a 1 hour commuting distance from this location. The territory includes Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Pay Range: $30-$38 per hour. Company vehicle, fuel card, laptop, and cell phone provided.

SITECH is the authorized dealer for Trimble Heavy and Civil construction products and services, including GCS900 and the Earthworks Grade Control platform. The Field Technician - Construction GPS is responsible for:

    Install and troubleshoot machine guidance systems on various types of earthmoving and paving equipment in the field and at customers' facilities.
  • Perform electrical repairs, installing system wiring harnesses and related sensors, configuring machine guidance software, performing systems updates and other software related tasks.
  • Modify and install hydraulic valves and hoses.
  • Demonstrate installed systems for customers.

We are seeking candidates with previous hands-on technician experience in heavy equipment repair.

Qualifications
  • Experience with Trimble products is desirable but not essential.
  • Top notch verbal and written communication skills; able to write service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders.
  • Able to interact with customers and answer repair related questions.
  • Three plus years of experience in the heavy equipment repair field.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicle.
  • Competent with computers, cell phones, and other types of technology.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must bring a positive, can-do attitude.
