Overview* Stable and growing organization* Competitive weekly pay* Professional, positive and people-centered work environment* Fast-paced work environment* Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.* Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal daysResponsibilitiesAs a Field Technician / IT Facility Coordinator you will coordinate and support a variety of technical projects related to the setup and maintenance of the IT infrastructure for Dayton Freight Lines Service Centers.* Exercise discretion to order and track vendor services for Service Center locations, such as telecom circuit orders and cable/infrastructure* Travel to service centers to analyze and install/move facility equipment including, but not limited to, network rack equipment, desktop/user equipment, etc.* Utilizes independent judgment to provide technical support to end-users via Help Desk and in the field regarding diverse software and hardware systems* Maintains proper documentation for all projects/tasks assigned to include inputting applicable records such as network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials* Utilizes independent judgement to perform moderately advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems* Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts* Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and / or systems* Performs in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to all company policies and procedures* Assists the Help Desk Supervisor with projects as assigned* Continuously look for opportunities to improve processesQualificationsPreferred Qualifications:* CompTIA Network+* Microsoft Office 365 AssociateQualifications:* Ability to analyze and interpret data* Ability to deploy and terminate network wiring* Ability to provide functional direction to other technical support* Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively* Ability to self-manage and demonstrate initiative* Ability to problem-solve using tools provided as well as online resources* Use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to written specifications and/or oral instructionsBenefits* Stable and growing organization* Competitive weekly pay* Professional, positive and people-centered work environment* Fast-paced work environment* Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.* Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal daysBusiness analyst, IT, I.T., information technology, IT analyst, IT business analyst
