Responsibilities:- Install and troubleshoot machine guidance systems on a variety of earth-moving and paving equipment, both in the field and at customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, software, and hardware faults within a machine system on job sites.
- Perform electrical repairs, including the installation of system wiring harnesses and related sensors, configuring machine guidance software, and performing software-related tasks.
- Install GPS components and wiring on a variety of heavy equipment.
- Modify and install hydraulic valves and hoses.
- Use Trimble survey gear to precisely measure and calibrate machines.
- Operate heavy equipment for troubleshooting and calibration.
- Order parts and complete service reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service including demonstration of installed systems.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to operate company vehicle.
- Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical system installation, diagnostics, and repair.
- Experience with CAT, John Deere, Volvo, Bobcat, Doosan, or similar machinery.
- Experience with Trimble products is desirable but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders.
- Ability to interact with customers and answer repair related questions.
- Possess a can-do attitude, be adaptable, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or after-hours if needed.
